How Credits Work
Prophet uses a simple credit system where 1 credit equals approximately 1 cent of AI API cost. When you send a message, tokens are consumed based on the length of your input and the AI response. Different Claude models have different per-token rates — Haiku is the most affordable for quick tasks, while Opus delivers the deepest reasoning for complex work.
We apply a 20% platform fee on top of Anthropic's standard API pricing. This covers hosting, authentication, streaming infrastructure, and support. For most users, this is significantly cheaper than a flat $20/month Claude Pro subscription — especially if you use AI occasionally rather than all day.
